GSSG/GSH Quantification Kit含有GSH掩蔽剂,加入掩蔽剂可以除去样品溶液中的GSH。因此可以通过检测加入DTNB (5,5’-dithiobis (2-nitrobenzoic acid)) 后在412nm处的显色反应加上在谷胱甘肽还原酶作用下的循环体系选择性地对GSSG进行定量。
 
 
氧化型/还原型谷胱甘肽的检测目的
谷胱甘肽 (γ-L-谷氨酰-L-半胱氨酰-甘氨酸) 是体内的一种三肽化合物,它参与抗氧化和药物代谢的过程,还是谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶、谷胱甘肽S-转移酶、巯基转移酶等的底物。谷胱甘肽通常以还原型状态(GSH) 存在,但是GSH在氧化应激的作用下会转化为氧化型状态(GSSG)。因此GSH/GSSG的比值被认为是氧化应激研究的一个重要指标。
